a piece i did some time ago for an insurance magazine. thought i’d share…

last week i attended the san diego comic con. it amazes me how that show grows exponentially every year! i didn’t have a table, i simple wandered about and enjoyed the show, and spent quite a bit of time on the beach as well in an effort to give myself a bit of a holiday.
with my busy schedule of late i haven’t had a chance to doodle up much. so for now i thought i’d share the “tip-in” image from the hard cover edition of MACHINATIONS OF DOOM. the book is available through Palladium books, and pretty soon i plan to be carrying it on my website as well. as soon as i get that darned store set up!

apologies for not updating the blog in so long, life got busy, i blinked and the next thing i knew a month has passed.
here is a small excerpt from an inuit mythology project i have been working on. it is an ongoing commitment so you’ll be seeing more of it as the year meanders along. it has been great fun as some of these mythological figures have never been interpreted before.
i’ll be back next week with more.
cheers.

well degrassi: extra credit volume 2 is just about wrapped up. just dotting the i’s and crossing some t’s. the book wil lbe out in the next few weeks - once i know more i’ll pass along any info - as well as a potential release party around the end of november.
in the meantime here’s a piece i did a few months back for a insurance magazine that has taken kindly to lil’ old moi. the theme was that of a employee hording phones. thought i’d have some fun with it, make it look like he’s been collecting for some time.
cheers.

…they shall replace the common man!
they don’t sleep!
they have no need for food!!
well, you get the idea.
here’s a cover image i did up for an insurance magazine a few months back, i figure it’s safe to reveal this new marvelous robotic design to the world now that the magazine has hit the stands!

this is a fun job i just wrapped up for an insurance magazine this past week. i know, i know you’re wracking your brain thinking “luchadors?” … “insurance?” … i don’t ask questions. someone wants me to draw two mexican wrestlers facing off - i jump at the chance! i figured the general viewing public who enjoys my stuff won’t be picking up any insurance trade magazines, sooooo i thought it’s be okay to post these here….
