a girl friday on a wednesday
it’s been a while since my last post for which i apologize. my workload for the past month has been tremendous. more on that another day, though.
right now i want a work escape, so i’m posting one of the pretty girls that meanders through my mind from time to time.
as well for those keen individuals who like to go to conventions and do convention like things i will be at the fan expo this weekend in toronto, and tentatively in montréal next month.

I LOVE this drawing because it’s the exact same way I read. Right down to the pillow underneath her and the way she has her feet in the air!
Another convention in Toronto?! I’m so jealous! I have to hold my comic book love in ALL year for those 4 precious days of SDCC. Sadly, my friends don’t support my comic book habit. They can’t get over the “stigma.” *rolls eyes*
Oh, and thank you for drawing very pretty, yet real looking women.

thanks kristen!
yep, there are two big cons here a year, plus a peppering of small one day shows. these torontonians are just spoiled.
stigma?
pfft. silly kids.

That little flirt, Cameron, told me I should come to Toronto. Maybe I should…
You’ve stayed in PB- didn’t you pick up on the lack of culture and the overwhelming superficial toolness found in SD?
Yes, there is still a stigma with comic books- at least from my experiences. Friday night my friend looks at me and says: “Kristen, if you wanna get laid, shut the fuck up about comic books when talking to boys!” She fails to notice the look I see on guys faces of, “Whaaaaaat? YOU like comics?!”

If the world was populated with all the wonderful ladies you draw…there’d be a lot less masturbation.
Or more…depending on how unlucky of a chump one is.:)

@kristen, yep a notorious flirt is he. but travel to fun destinations around the globe is always good too
there’s a great con next year, though more in the indie vein, call tcaf (toronto comic arts festival) that would make for a good trip. it’s kinda like mocca north.
@shane, i’d be a very happy man!
