feeling like one of the walking undead right now. my easter long weekend was spent wrapping up a children’s book for local publisher maple tree press. the book is titled “fear & phobias” and while it was a blast to do i’ve been staring at my computer monitor for faaaaaar too long! with another 20hrs worth of work to do, i’m beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
so in my zombified state i share with you a sketch i did for a fan at one of the early toronto paradise comicon’s, the next of which is apporaching in a couple of weeks! it’s of our favourite green brute done at the time when i was pencilling marvels hulk: gamma games,
till next time, when i hope to much better rested…

aplogies for the lack of verbal discourse, but times are buuuuuusy. wrapping up a children’s book this weekend as well as a few other small projects next week. i’ll be back with more interesting tidbits next week though…

here’s a sci-fi piece i did last year. it was a double page spread for an rpg title ex-machina, can’t recall who the publisher was. i just remember the deadline ended up getting shifted around and suddenly where i had a week left i had a day. with no time to ink i quickly laid in some tones digitally.
part of me wants to go back in and ink this puppy up. mebbe even slap in some colour.

it’s been a busy week so just some doodles from the old sketchbook today. you might (hopefully) recognize one of the fellows..
